Peikko is operating in the several niche fields of construction, and by having a solid team of Research & Development professionals, it has the knowledge and ability to influence positively the industry it operates in.

Many organizations Peikko belongs to are involved in codes and standards or policy making in their fields. They can be also seen as platforms for Peikko to share the latest research results or to meet its existing or potential customers.

Peikko is a member of a few global industry organizations, such as:

IPHA, International Prestressed Hollowcore Association;
FIB, The International Federation of Structural Concrete;
CTBUH, The Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat;

Nevertheless, the construction markets are by nature very market‑specific, and most of the organizations Peikko belongs to are very local in nature.

Here are some examples on the organizations Peikko participates in:

Various national or regional steel construction associations, such as “Teräsrakenneyhdistys Ry” in Finland;
Various national concrete construction associations, such as “Betoniteollisuus Ry” in Finland;
Various wind energy associations, such as “Suomen Tuulivoimayhdistys Ry” in Finland.

Peikko does not belong to any organization or working committee within an organization where the members would be solely its competitors. Given that competitors are met in the meetings of the organizations, Peikko’s personnel follow the Peikko Group – Competitor Compliance Guidelines.
