PSB® Punching Reinforcement is an ETA-approved system providing the highest resistance on the market. PSB® Punching and Shear Rails offer simple and reliable solutions against punching shear failure and shear failure of slabs, foundations, walls and beams by increasing their resistance.
PSB® Punching Reinforcement is applicable to various kinds of structural systems and installation situations. PSB® rails consist of double-headed studs, welded to a non-structural flat bar. The system is available as 2- or 3- stud elements, which can be used to construct the required reinforcement, or as complete elements where all studs are welded to one assembly profile. Elements are manufactured individually according to the static requirements. Being fully integrated in the concrete elements, it is an ideal reinforcement system for monolithic slim structures or flat concrete structures in general, which can be used as punching reinforcement (PSB®) or shear reinforcement (PSB®-S).
PSB® consists of double-headed studs, assembled by a flat bar as spacing bar. Applicable to top and bottom installation. Available as 2- or 3-stud system elements or as complete elements.
PSB® Punching Reinforcement is dimensioned according to various approvals (ETA 13/0151, Germany Z-15-1-231, Poland AT-15-7688/2008, etc.). Therefore, we recommend our user-friendly dimensioning software Peikko Designer®, downloadable from Peikko’s Design Tool page. Please contact Peikko’s local Technical Support at any time for information or dimensioning questions.
