FATBAR® Post-Tensioned Anchor — Made for Heavy Dynamic Loads

FATBAR® system is designed for prestressing applications to perform under heavy dynamic loads. FATBAR® can be applied in wind turbine foundations and demanding engineering applications that sustain fatigue loads. The FATBAR®s are post-tensioned against high dynamic stress and thus protect the foundations or concrete structures from cracking even in harsh conditions.

FATBAR® is a unique high-strength steel bar for prestressing applications. Its design enables it to sustain greater fatigue loads, which increases the life span of foundations or concrete structures. FATBAR® can be used as bonded, unbonded, or external bar tendon.

FATBAR® post-tensioned anchors are preassembled with conical washers and spherical nuts designed following the principles of DIN 6319 and DIN 6330 B and are property class 10. Bolt threads are cold-rolled with special threading for fatigue loading. FATBAR®s are produced according to EN 898-1 property class 10.9.

FATBAR® post-tensioned anchors are available in any length up to 11,900 mm according to the customer’s specification.
