Peikko Group has appointed two new non-executive members to the Board of Directors. The new members were elected in an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in January 2025.
Katarina Lucic, M.A. in Management, is Head of Distribution Business APAC at Sika, leading distribution sales, retail marketing, and strategic growth initiatives across the Asia Pacific region. She has 11 years of experience in the specialty chemicals and construction industry. Having lived and worked in Switzerland, Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore, Katarina brings a global perspective and expertise in emerging markets. Katarina is a Swiss citizen living in Singapore, born in 1982.
Otto Jukko, M.Sc. Finance and Economics, is a 2000-born Finnish citizen living in the United Kingdom. He is a third-generation member of the Paananen family, which owns Peikko Group Corporation.
Two board members will end their term at Peikko this year. Liina Chung-Jukko, M.Sc. Theoretical Physics and a third-generation member of the Paananen family, ended her term as a board member in January 2025. Philippe Jost, Regional Manager Asia/Pacific and a member of the Group Management at Sika Group, steps down from the board in the summer of 2025.
The other board members will remain unchanged: Morten la Cour Ørnstrand-Soborg, Managing Director of Knauf Denmark; Karen Scrivener, Professor and Director of the Laboratory of Construction Materials in the Department of Materials of École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL); and Teppo Voutilainen, Chief Executive Officer of Elematic Oyj. Anu Ahola, Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer (CTO) at Meyer Turku, continues as the Non-Executive Chair of the Board of Directors.
