Peikko Group, a leading global supplier of slim floor structures, wind energy applications and connection technology for precast and cast-in-situ construction, reached in 2020 a record turnover of EUR 238.5 million (MEUR 230.9 in 2019). Profit before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to EUR 14.3 million (MEUR 7.6 in 2019).

In February 2020, Peikko acquired the product rights of ATLANT® Composite Columns from Switzerland and established a new Sales office in the city of Frauenfeld. Last year, Peikko also established a new legal entity in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, to support the local sales.
Peikko’s total investments in 2020 continued at a high level and amounted to EUR 18.7 million (MEUR 20.7 in 2019). The major events in the field of manufacturing included the opening of the newly built premises in Ras Al Khaimah, the United Arab Emirates, the 5,000 m2 expansion of the manufacturing premises in Zhangjiagang, China, and the purchase of additional factory premises of 25,000 m2 in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Peikko’s Research & Development investments remained on similar level to 2019 and were at about 6 MEUR. Several new product launches took place in 2020, such as DELTABEAM® Green, WILJA® Lifting Insert, SLADEX® Balcony Slab Connector, STRIFF® Shear Dowel and KAPU® Safety Railing Sleeve.
