Peikko Group has partnered with CREE Buildings to advance sustainable construction methods. CREE, based in Austria, specializes in timber-hybrid building systems for multi-story buildings, while Peikko is known for its structural solutions like the DELTABEAM® system.
The CREE approach combines prefabrication with environmentally friendly materials, offering a scalable way to quickly construct energy-efficient, high-performance buildings with minimal environmental impact. Their way of working is designed to reduce construction waste and carbon footprints, aligning with global green building goals.
Through this partnership, Peikko's solutions such as DELTABEAM Composite Beams, ATLANT® Columns, and connection items, will become available options within CREE's building system licensed to contractors worldwide. Peikko’s solutions will help create stronger connections between timber and concrete elements, making construction faster, safer, and more sustainable.
The partnership enables Peikko to participate in CREE's network events and share their product information on CREE's platform. While inclusion in every CREE project isn’t automatic, Peikko now has a wider door to influence early project specifications and support licensed contractors.
The partnership strengthens both companies' commitment to sustainable construction, with Peikko expanding its presence in the green building sector and CREE gaining access to advanced structural solutions.
“This important partnership aligns Peikko with CREE’s commitment to sustainable building through modular timber-hybrid systems. By integrating our solutions into CREE’s global network, we are offering our customers more ways to build energy-efficient and high-performance buildings that meet ambitious environmental goals. With this in mind, the partnership enables us to support contractors right from the start, and give them access to sustainable prefabricated solutions,” says Topi Paananen, CEO of Peikko Group.
