Business Controller, Operations

Your main responsibilities as Business Controller, Operations:

• Lead and develop business controlling processes in Peikko Operations. Harmonize and develop our ways of doing local business control.
• Act as a financial business partner for Operations Leader.
• Develop manufacturing efficiencies and productivity metrics together with Group Operations and Peikko production units.
• Monthly Operations reporting & supporting in financial closing.
• Support strategic projects in the operations.
• Develop reporting process in cooperation with the Operations team & Group finance.
• Organize and lead regular business controllers’ meetings with all Peikko production units.
• Cost follow-up between manufacturing units. Identify improvement opportunities and drive their implementation jointly with the Group Operations team.

You will report to Group Business Controller. This position is located in Lahti, Finland, with the possibility of working partially remotely.

Your background:

• Experience in business controlling in an international industrial environment.
• Relevant educational background (e.g., M.Sc. in Economics / Engineering Technical) or you have several years of practical work experience in similar tasks.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English are required, other language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and an ability to translate numbers and analysis into the right actions and steering.
• Strong cooperation and networking skills.
• Experience working with BI tools and Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations is a benefit.
