Last week one old friend of mine from Spain visited Finland. We had a good time to talk about construction business in general, and compare practices in each other’s countries. I also pointed out one construction site in Helsinki which was relatively close to his hotel – for him just to have a look at it.
Enclosed you can find pictures from a Kasarmitori multi-story office building site in the heart of Helsinki downtown, taken by my Spanish friend. What is particular in these pictures? The work was fully ongoing in the site, despite the minus 18 degrees Celsius! The use of precast elements combined with Peikko’s DELTABEAM® enabled the building site to go forward without any delays, despite the hard weather conditions.
